Zetta Cool

Zetta Cool is a graduate of The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in which she has a B.A. in Dance with a concentration in Arts Administration. She is trained in Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop and Jazz. She studied under Ronald K. Brown, Lisa Attles of Alvin Ailey, Sharron Miller of Sharron Miller's Academy for the Performing Arts and The Stockton College Dance Department. Zetta is a certified public school dance teacher who has taught Hip Hop, Modern and Jazz at the Montclair YMCA, Bradford Elementary School, Watchung Elementary School and East Orange Campus High School.
Ms. Cool is currently the proud owner/artistic director of The Cool School of performing arts and the Dance Department Head at Buzz Aldrin Middle School in Montclair NJ. She has successfully shared her love of dance, discipline, performance, and self-esteem to hundreds of middle school aged boys and girls. Ms. Cool hopes to bring her program to young stars around the world that may never experience the arts, but deserve to.



Nicole Timpanaro is a graduate of the Montclair State University dance department where she was taught by top teachers/choreographers like Jay T Jenkins, Nancy Lushington and Karen Gayle. Nicole finished the program with a BA in Dance Education and a K-12 Certification in Dance. She specializes in jazz and modern/contemporary but has a background in ballet, tap, musical theatre and hip-hop. Nicole has always had a passion for teaching but also performing. She danced with the MSU repertory company while in college performing works by choreographers from around the world. After college she went on to perform with BudLight as part of their MetLife Dance Team. Although performing is very important to Nicole, her true passion is to teach dance and make a difference in young dancers' lives. Nicole has taught dance all over New Jersey for the last 5 years including masterclasses in cheer dance, modern and composition. She has also brought several competition teams to national competitions with her choreography. She plans on continuing her journey as a dance teacher and hopes to keep expanding her resume as a top educator in the tri-state area.



Sid (which stands for Switch iDance) is a professional Dancer/Choreographer teaching intermediate and advance classes. Specializing in the areas of Hip Hop, Contemporary Hip Hop, and Street Jazz. Stepping out on faith Sid moved away from home to become better and to train harder. Sids growth has led him to some really great adventures. Performing with artist like Justina Valentine (NEW Jersey), Karena Clarke (Miami), Michael Jackson Tribute Band ``Who's Bad`` and has also performed on the reality show ``The First Family Of Hip Hop`` behind Lea Robinson (Sugarhill Gang in New York) on Bravo Television. Sid also ventured off into acting, where he landed a role in the independent film ``Last Love Lost`` of which he also choreographed. Sid has toured and performed in New York, Boston, Atlanta, Miami, Colorado. Philly and Canada just to name a few. His passion, drive and energy is completely experienced in each class he teaches, as he pushes dancers to experience a new and different level within themselves. Sids motto is ``Greatness within can only be achieved when you have someone great helping you to see how great you are capable of becoming.`` His hard work and training gives him the ability to always share something new, different and challenging in all of his classes. Sids main goal is to inspire those to bring to life the person they dream to be or have dreamed of becoming, and to believe in themselves.



Christine Sampson- Street Jazz
Christine Sampson was Born and raised in Swedesboro, NJ, where she began dancing since the age of 3. She began at a local studio, where she learned all dance styles. in 1997, she was accepted at the Southern New Jersey Academy of Performing Arts. In 2005, she graduated from Rutgers University with a BFA in Dance from the Mason Gross School of the Arts. She performed in MGSA's dance co; DanceWorks, and had the privilege to dance in guest artist' Doug Varone's works ``Bench Quartet.``She performed for various faculty and students' shows in her college career. After college, she danced for the NJ Nets Dance team in 2006-07. She has been featured in Ugly Betty, ``The Other Woman,`` Spike TV, Extra with Mario Lopez, Epix TV, Comcast on Demand, the Today Show, and BET. She has also done various national and international tours; The Gap, Inc. Holiday Cross Country Tour, NBA All-Star Games, NBA Europe Live, NBA China Games, WNBA London Live, NBA London Live and
other live performances. In addition, Christine has performed with artists, Flo-rida, Pitbull, Kevin Rudolph, Shakira, Rhianna, Ryan Leslie, Tiffany Evans, Ludacris, B.O.B, Juicy J, and Bruno Mars. Currently, she has started her own company, Rock Roulette Productions and continues to grow as an artist. In all, she would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support.



Ishita (Mili) is a professional dancer born and raised in New Jersey. Ishita has learned Bharatanatyam since the age of 5 primarily under Guru Sudha Shekar Devulapalli of Kalanjali School of Dance, and completed her arangetram at the tender age of 15. She has additionally trained in Bharatanatyam in Kolkata, India under Guru Malabika Sen. She has also learned Indian contemporary fusion under Guru and uncle Sukalyann Bhattacharya from a young age. Ishita is a very versatile dancer and has additionally trained in Hip Hop, gymnastics, Western, nattuvangam, Eastern Music Rhythms, and yoga. In 2010, Mili was the 1st Runner up in Sony Television's Boogie Woogie, NJ 2010. The year after, she won the Gold Prize at the Dongwa South Asian Performing Arts competition, and 1st prize in classical dance at the Telegu Fine Arts Society competition. Ishita has performed internationally for solo performances and with Sukalyann Dance Entourage. Most recently she was featured on Bangladesh TV's Tarana dance reality show as a guest performer and performed in a solo debut show in Kolkata for Hygeia Foundation and RKHIV in support of children with HIV/AIDS. Some other notable artistic achievements include starring in Lopamudra Mitro's music video for ``Mamo Chitte``, T.V. performances, featuring in Bengali films, and working alongside stars including music producer Bappi Lahiri, actor Adil Hussain, play director Megnath Bhattacharjee, actress Indrani Haldar, actress Monami Ghosh, and more in various projects.
Ishita is currently a company member of Sukalyann Dance Entourage, an established internationally performing Indian dance troupe, and a company member of UFP Dance Company, one of the East coast’s premier Hip Hop teams. She has completed the intensive Dancing to Connect Program at Battery Dance Company, led by artistic director Jonathan Hollander and also completed a scholarship program at Contemporary Indian company Sumeet Nagdev Dance Arts (Mumbai).



Daniel Padierna, Artistic Director of Padierna Dance Project, began his early dance training at Dance World Academy in Passaic Park, NJ under the direction of Donna Farinella. He recently received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Education at Montclair State University (MSU) and performed in works by Antony Tudor, Jose Limon, Pat Graney, Camille A. Brown, and Larry Keigwin. His choreography was recently produced at DUMBO Dance Festival, Dance Against Cancer, Kean University, Montclair Arts Alliance, Passaic County Technical Institute and Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts. Padierna was awarded the MSU College of the Arts Dance Education Award in May 2017.


Mary Ann Cool

Chorus Director/Music Teacher at
Mt. Hebron School and Co-Founder of The Cool School of the Performing Arts is a specialist in music education with thirty-three years of classroom experience. Mary Ann is able to present a wealth of techniques and strategies for developing greatness in her students and in schools. She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education and has taught on the Creative Arts Team at P.S. 3 in Manhattan. Mary Ann also taught a course at NYU entitled “Exploring the Jazz World”. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from William Paterson University and is certified to be a school principal in the state of New Jersey. Mary Ann is presently a music teacher at Mt. Hebron Middle School in Montclair, New Jersey where she served as subject matter leader of the performing and visual arts for many years. Mary Ann learned “in the trenches” how important music is to young children’s development. In addition to teaching school, she also taught music lessons to children age four to eighteen in her home studio and in neighboring community centers. Mary Ann composes original music for her performing groups and has performed with Cissy Houston and Whitney Houston on television and radio with their church choir. She was the director of The Ironbound Summer Arts Program in Newark, NJ as well as the Director of The Broadway Performance Workshop sponsored by the Montclair Public Schools at Montclair High School. Prior to teaching in Montclair, Ms. Cool was named “ Teacher of the Year” in two different schools in East Orange. She also was the two-time recipient of the Josh and Judy Weston Award for Excellence in Teaching in Montclair. Her choirs participate in a national music festival every year and have received “superior: ratings at The High Note National Music festival for sixteen consecutive years.
